Director Finance and Technical services (PG in Soil Science & Ph.D in Biopesticide )
Prashant
Dharankar is a well known agriculturist having experience of over 20 years in
the field of Biotechnology. He completed his PG in Soil Science & Ph.D in
Biopesticide formulation & dedicated his work in the service of
Agriculture. As a soil scientist, he has been continuously engaged in the
development of bio control agents & bio fertilisers. After rejecting the
government service proposal, he started his career in the bio pesticide &
bio fertiliser in 1997 by establishing the state-of-the-art laboratory at
Nashik. At that time very few people were engaged in this business. He started with
the idea of making popularize the biotechnological products among farming
community. At that time farmers are also very unaware about the importance of
bio inputs & its use in increasing the productivity of crops. In such a
scenario, he took enormous efforts in educating the farmers by conducting
meetings all across the India at village levels through audio visual aids &
field trials. He worked on around 129 species of microbes with the help of
agricultural Universities & Research Organisations to help building the

ENPRO group of companies. He has guided several youth entrepreneur to set up
Manufacturing units. And now after 20 years, use of bio inputs become the need
of the hour & farmers are very much aware about its importance in Indian
agriculture for eliminating the use of chemical pesticides & fertilisers.
On account of this he has received several national & international
accreditations
Now
a days large number of farmers using bio pesticide & bio fertilisers not
only to produce export quality food but to minimize the heavy expenses on
chemicals to control pest & increasing the yields of the farms. Farmers are
very much happy that they are saving money as well as their valuable soil &
environment
